Tour Description

On this 11-12 hour Iceland South Coast tour you will be picked up from your hotel or closest bus stop( see bus stops ) in Reykjavik between 08:00 and 08:30 before you head on this journey to the land of volcanoes and ice.

Seljalandsfoss waterfall is the first stop. This is the waterfall with walking trail that leads behind it and on sunny days you can see a beautiful rainbow and if you are lucky, a unicorn sliding down.

Skógafoss waterfall is the second stop. You have probably imagined how the perfect waterfall would look like. This is the one! There are absolutely no words to describe it. So the word that comes closest to it will be perfect.

Sólheimajökull Glacier hike is the next stop. This is the highlight without a doubt. Walking on a glacier with Icelands most powerful volcano lying underneath it. This is a surreal experience that everyone have to try. On top of it you will get hot chocolate and Icelandic pastry.

Reynisfjara or Black Sand Beach is the last stop before heading to the Viking lodge.
This is where Game of thrones was filmed and this is where the troll is out in the ocean towing 3 mast ship to shore. This is where you see the famous beautiful basaltic rocks in the mountain.

Ingólfsskáli Viking house (lodge) is the stop to have dinner at. The Viking house is a real Viking house. So when you walk in there, you go back 1.200 years. You get to meet the owner which is dressed like a Viking. He will serve you the Icelandic free roaming lamb. With the lamb you get to choose between local beer or a glass of wine.

What to wear? Well, this is Iceland. It rains here 250 days a year so be prepared for a rain. Bring rain gear. You can also rent it from us. Just choose it under extra when making the booking. Bring thermal layers also. In winter, bring something warm along with cap and gloves. And of course you need to have hiking boots. You can also rent the hiking boots. We do provide you with crampons in the winter time for free. You do not need to slip in the icy trails.

What we provide? You get all the glacier equipment from us, like axe, helmet, glacier walking crampons and belt.

Difficulty? Moderate.

We sure hope to see you
