Small Group South Coast Iceland Tour description
The tour starts with a pick-up from Reykjavik at your hotel, guesthouse or one of the bus stops downtown.
The pick-up is between 9:30 and 10:00. This gives you a little bit extra time to sleep on your vacation.
The first stop on this trip is the iconic waterfall, Seljalandsfoss. It offers a spectacular view of the forces and beauty of untouched nature. You can walk behind it and on sunny days a rainbow shows up.
Skógafoss waterfall is next. You can walk all the way on top of it and see the waterfall down the waterfall. An old story says there is gold hidden underneath the waterfall. If you find it, you will get a 10% cut 🙂
A short drive from Skogafoss is the Black Sand Beach/Reynisfjara. The black sand beach which connects the island to another island, trolls out in the ocean, a powerful volcano with a glacier on top of it, basaltic cliffs on the side of a mountain, and the power of the North Atlantic ocean. This place has it all.
If you are wondering how to dress for this tour, we highly recommend bringing rain gear to Iceland. Does not matter the time of the year.
In winter, bring rain gear and also warm clothes, a cap, and gloves.
You do not need to bring a Viking costume or helmet for this tour. But you can do so if you want to 🙂 But the most important thing to bring is your smile 🙂
We look forward to seeing you on the amazing South Coast tour. Wanna enjoy a private Northern Lights tour – Hot Chocolate & Icelandic Pastries
