Tour Description

Meet us at the Old Harbour’s ticket office in downtown Reykjavík, where you’ll exchange your prepaid voucher for boarding tickets. Our Visitor Centre, housed in a converted fishing vessel, offers a unique encounter with wildlife through a floating exhibition.

Our RIB boats offer an unparalleled experience, allowing you to witness wildlife up close and personal. The thrill of being so close to these creatures in their natural habitat is an unforgettable experience.

Board our whale watching vessel through the Visitor Centre, providing access to outdoor viewing platforms, a heated indoor saloon, a cafeteria, restrooms, and a cloakroom with provided blankets and overalls. Our experienced naturalist guide will provide live commentary throughout the tour, enhancing your understanding of the marine life you encounter.

The tour promises exciting encounters with various whale species, including minke whales, humpback whales, white-beaked dolphins, and harbor porpoises. The opportunity to observe these creatures in their natural habitat is a privilege we cherish.

• The tour requires a minimum of 2 passengers. If this minimum is not met, we provide the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.
• Seniors (65+ yrs), pregnant women, and those with heart or back problems may find the tour unsuitable.
• Minimum age: 10 years or a height of 145 cm. Maximum overall size: 3XL.
• A waiver signing is required upon arrival.
• Please arrive at the Old Harbour at least 30 minutes before the scheduled departure.
• Pickup service is not available for this tour.
• In case whales or dolphins are not spotted, a refund is not provided. Instead, we offer a complimentary ticket valid for our Classic Whale Watching tour for returning passengers within 2 years.
