Tour description
Your friendly guide will pick you up at Keflavik Airport at about 10:30-10:45 before you head on this amazing and historical journey.
First stop are two beautiful lighthouses. They are located next to each other. One is built during the World War second. In this small fishing village you get the taste of Iceland´s fisherman´s life. You can go on board on old wooden boat on dry and do the dramatic Titanic scene.
Next up is the oldest town in Reykjanes Peninsula. In this small village, the first settler of Iceland used to live. There you can see the ruins from his house from 1300 years ago. An old black church is located next to the house and anchor from American ship that ran aground there 130 years ago with no men on board.
After this must stop place you will drive from the American part of Iceland over to the European part. There you will visit the bridge between the two continents. Nowhere else in the world can you walk between these two plates. The landscape there is like the moon. It´s so heavy and dark.
After walking back and forth over the two continents, you will get some heavy stuff. Watch out for the old ghost named Gunna. See live by the colorful geothermal mud pools. If you see her, come straight to us.
After this horrible experience you will get to see something unique. The Reykjanes cliffs. They are located by the oldest lighthouse in Iceland. The days over there are never the same. It is just breathtaking to stand by the cliffs and see the waves break at the rocks. You could stand there all day and listen to the ocean and breath this fresh air into your lungs.
Last but not least, the walking path by the Blue Lagoon. It´s surreal to walk there by the blue water and in these lava fields. This is absolutely amazing trip.
After you will head back to the airport.
