Tour Description
Your guide will pick you up from your hotel or hotel room sometimes. Not everyone is good in waking up in the morning. From there you will head to this amazing peninsula while your guide will tell you how strange people are in Iceland. Tell you stories of elves and hopefully, you will see some trolls.
Come on to visit another incredible place. It´s called Búðir. It is located by the ocean and has this old black church there. Learn about why churches were colored black. This small fishing hamlet there is located in a surreal environment of lava fields all around it.
After enjoying the company of the seals, you will visit Rauðafeldsgjá. It is a really deep, narrow ravine inside of the cliffs south of the glacier of Snæfellsnes Peninsula. It has a tiny waterfall inside it. This is absolutely amazing place to be at.
Continue we head to the most stunning place called Arnarstapi. If you have ever imagined a dramatic and beautiful landscape, then this is that image. This place is perfect. It literally takes all of your words. Standing on the edge of the cliffs, marveling at the ocean and then all this landscape around you. You have to be dragged out of there because you just won’t get enough of this place. It robs all of your words from you.
Well, we have to move on though.
Ok, when you think it cannot get any better than this, you will visit a place called Black Lava Pearl Beach. I know, and it looks even better than it sounds. The next place gets only better than the last one. Once, this place had the biggest fishing village on the whole peninsula.
Next is this amazing crater named Saxhóll. First, you will have to walk up on top of it and you get the most amazing view over the peninsula. It is really a must-visit place. Saxhóll is one of the most popular craters on Snæfellsnes.
Our last stop before heading back to Reykjavik is probably the most popular one. We usually save the best for last. It is the amazing mountain Kirkjufell and the incredible waterfall next to it, Kirkjufellsfoss waterfall. This tops the magic you were promised in this tour.
